College Basketball and the NBA have gone into their best parts of the year. Lets be honest, the regular season for NCAA is not that exciting except for your college team. The NBA now has a ton of interest as well with the Heat going for 33 in a row. This is like a month long Super Bowl for Vegas. So here we go again…….
March Madness is officially in full swing and I am loving every minute of it. As always we have had upsets, last second wins, records being broken, and brackets being busted. So far if you have taken the underdog they have covered in the majority of games. It is a wide open tournament. That votes well for us gamblers since Vegas keeps giving big spreads. Look for that to change after this weekend.
I was super impressed with Indiana and Michigan St. Memphis looked great but fell apart at the end, but that’s what you get with Freshman and Sophomores They will face Michigan St. today in what I think will be a great game. Miami rolled as they should for the next couple of games. The big upset was the Harvard win. Somewhere Jeremy Lin was smiling. My sleeper Ole Miss got an impressive win. Duke had a scare for awhile until pulling away late against Albany. Another team to keep an eye on is Oregon. They have talent and a chip on their shoulders…..
So now we move to my favorite, the NBA. If you just took Miami to win for the last 23 games imagine what you are swimming in now. You could bet for free the rest of the year. But like most people, you didn’t So here are some tips for whats going on besides the Heat. Chicago looks terrible they are just waiting for Rose be back. San Antonio just got Parker back so watch out. Memphis is getting back to full strength and they are great against the spread, well except for last night. It also looks like Boston has found a replacement for Rondo and are playing with a new spirit. The New York Knicks are starting to get back to full strength to make a run at the playoffs. We are on the playof stretch run and it should be fun.
So for my pick of the week we will go NCAA… Louisville-10.5 vs Colorado St.
