Costa Rica Travel – Costa Rica will have eight direct flights to Europe as of March 2018, now that the German airline Lufthansa has announced direct flights between Costa Rica and Frankfurt.
The service to the German city is going to be on Thursdays and Saturdays from March 29th next year on an Airbus A340-300 aircraft with capacity for 279 seats in business, economy and economy premium classes.
The new LH518 flight will depart at 1:45 pm and arrive at 5:55 pm local time. The return flight will go from 7:50 pm to 3:10 pm the next day. The flight takes 11 hours, approximately.
This information was announced at an event at the National Theater, with participation from President Luis Guillermo Solis and the Vice President of Sales of the Lufthansa group for the Americas region.
The flight is promoted as the link to “the green paradise of Central America.”
