The Costa Rican Times is forced to print this in response to an article which we took down….
“We, Costa Rican Times, the publishers of this article, are sorry to have defamed attorney Arcelio Hernandez, a Costa Rican attorney incorporated in the Costa Rican bar association, Colegio de Abogados, since 2001, and who has never been suspended or accused of any wrong doing as an attorney nor as Notary Public, not before the Bar Association and not before any public authority. The information published, indicating that attorney Arcelio Hernandez Mussio or his Bufete Hernandez Mussio y Asociados, S.A., incurred in some type of fraud with regards to real estate property and legal transactions in Jaco, is totally false, and we deeply regret the error. No information regarding any fruad has been verified and we offer a public apology to Mr. Hernandez Mussio, who was never given a chance by us to give his version prior to publishing this article. We did not, in fact, have any evidence that attorney Hernandez used any expired passports, nor did he falsify ANY signatures on legal documents, which would constitute crimes under Costa Rican laws, and we therefore apologize for the damage caused by this defamatory article to Mr. Arcelio Hernandez Mussio and his law firm Bufete Hernandez Mussio y Asociados.”
Here are some articles in AM Costa Rica which are still running so you can form your own opinion…
