There is something fascinating about reading a book. When it’s a good book you know because you get sucked into its world. It’s believable and if it’s believable; it’s real. Books have so much religious power that it makes you wonder how they could cast such an enchantment onto people.
It is like alchemy, where you are creating gold from nothing. We are creating a whole world from nothing. Perhaps the writers of these holy books are the greatest magicians of all.
There are so many stories out in the world. Our cultures, our religions, our families; they all teach us something. Whether the story is a fable or not they still teach us an element of history. They can teach valuable and invaluable things.
The repetitions and patterns in a book could cause one to fall into a trance deep inside, meditating much like reading religious texts or listening to a great song. The charm of someone’s conversation skills could even win us over. Whether they are true or not, they seem to affect the brain somehow.
How does a book…just papers, words and ink send us spiraling into another dimension? How does something we believe so much to be real drive us to only one possible solution; that everything we are reading must be true? When it is true…as I am certain there are many true stories… it is still like a revival of religion… I think we are doing weird things because we read them in books like when we are eating animals because it’s in books because scientifically we don’t need to survive… such other things like sexism exists in these old books. God and Goddess is not a sexist and the sexism is even in all cultures.
Mostly I believe this is because men were the majority of writers and this is how they viewed things from their perspectives. Just like all goddess is displayed in her best and worst there is no in between.
Books have also created the idea of creating everything literally. Even though what a person is saying may seem to true to them they may have a limited mind of thinking. They may have been in a country unknowing of other people or cultures nearby and think everything revolves around them and they may believe it is their destiny to write history from their perspective and knowledge, not the whole truth of it all. That’s how come nothing we write can be true because we ourselves do not even know the truth about most things that are happening around us. We have to rely on different unreliable sources for information sometimes because anyone that was around to know the truth of the first people or Gods are dead and it doesn’t matter what pictures or evidence they left we can’t see beyond our Earth or interpret what they meant or what they were disillusioned by.
People throw out Gods and Goddess and create new ones all the time. Even though it may come from a book you can still feel the energy shift in a room proving that just believing in a thought can bring life into the physical world. Your brain is so much more powerful than you think and I believe in the future that we are going to become more intelligent and figure out all the mysteries that haunt us today. That’s when the darkness will begin and darkness is when all the mystery is gone. The mystery is the breath of every haunting legend… The beginning of the Holy bible starts out with Adam and Eve and the forbidden fruit of knowledge. This is a similar world that we are in.
This is a world that was evolved into us writing into books, etc. I believe that the begging of writing really caused an awakening. This made our lives legally binding, irrational, paranoid, and ignorant all because of books. Every religion you can awaken into a new thought, learn how to do this yourself and create yourself as the God or Goddess.
Reincarnate your soul and be alive in the moments. Don’t get me wrong, I love books but they seem to be a tool of the Gods that we ourselves do not have the power to fully grasp!
There is a huge enchantment with words that we can cause the sounds of our voices and thoughts echo through the universe endlessly. We are all evolving from reading books and there is something very powerful about them that we do not understand. The energy from their time of printing, the writers, the materials, the motives used and more can make a book into a very powerful and magical object. If you know your woods for example you can create the right equation for a perfect energy from the paper and binding to emit from your book. You may even add magic symbols and seals to protect your books.
Before the popularity of books in the ninth century, people were engraving onto all kinds of elements such as metal, stone, temples and more. These things are still around today. The act of writing onto these materials has given them a greater power than if they had not been inscribed at all. From this energy we can somehow connect with the source of it all. When we all find the same purpose, we would gather our energies into masses just like stars and planets aligning in the sky and we would cause beautiful reactions.
The purpose of this all comes from our evolution in case if you have noticed we had gone to some sort of place in our minds where we wanted to name everything and speak together. We became curious of other peoples’ character, intentions and spirit. We wanted to study and organize things in our ways. We took the natural world and we placed it out of order. It’s always changing just like pages are always turning.
We are all scientists in case you haven’t noticed. We are inquisitive and we need to survive on a good mystery to feel happy, to strive for more.
The Painter
My memories are patterns
Of you
A wet brush painting my skin
Spiraling, staining
Awakening spirits from within
Calling me to feel freedom
The painter, the potter
I am your art piece
Your energy sculpture
Your Venus and your Jupiter

I dreamed that I had a large textbook beside me and the male professor was asking everyone questions and I knew all the answers. The questions were about spiritual and cultural things and the God’s and Goddess of the ancient world. It was nice because I had a whole bunch of books beside me that I had already read. The classroom was a small one. It had modern wooden desks. The books were also saying about other books, the other books listed were books that had been lost or destroyed in a fire .I got the feeling that this was not a physical realm but a spiritual one.

The legends of books are links to the past. The act of reading a book can bring the past into the present with you. It can haunt you, inspire you, cause you to change yourself, and books can cause you to evolve. The legends of books inspire us to dream, because once we start dreaming than we can turn our dreams into reality. Stories can change the world.
Book of Shadows
A book of shadows is an ancient name for a book that can be applied to many different books. It is a general term for one who practices magic to record their spells. It is like a journal. Of course, there was a first book of shadows that had to inspire the trend. Gerald Gardner is the one who is credited with this, having created the first one in the 1940’s with this title; however this author is not inclined to believe that a book of shadows has been written this late in time. I believe that because of human nature.
Humans started recording many things when they learned to write and I think the overall concept was in practice before this. Wicca is a religion having had its beginnings traced back to the early twentieth century. When the person who wrote their Book of Shadows dies, the book is also supposed to be destroyed of course if the owner had different instructions, it might be inside of the book.
Book of Life
In Christianity and Judaism, the Book of Life is the book where the names are written of those destined for the Heavenly realms. If you cannot find your name within this book then it is said that you are destined for eternal death. The people who don’t make the Book of Life will be in the Book of Death. Those in the Book of Death will be cast into a lake of fire after the end of time. This book was created with the bible, which was created in about the 13th century to 600 years before our common era. The oldest copy of a bible is from the fourth century. It is in the Vatican libraries. It is named the Codex Vaticanus.
Jade Books in Heaven
The Jade Books in Heaven are from the Daoist canons. The canons were for those interested in Taoism in southern China. The beliefs are heavily incorporated into meditation, exorcism and ritual. It was split into what they call three grottoes during the year 400. They are the texts of; Supreme Purity, Sacred Treasure and Three Sovereigns. These of course like many other stories around the world, first written onto scrolls.
The Jade books are books that are mentioned in these spiritual stories.
This is a book that exists in Heaven. It is also a book that contains
10,000 names of certain blessed souls.
Nidaba’s Tablet
In Sumerian Folklore, Nidaba is the goddess of writing and learning. She is the keeper of the records of the God’s and Goddess. She records important events, temple records and names. Other God’s often turn to her for aid. In folklore, she commonly got her advice from a tablet made of Lapis Lazuli, which is also some kind of a star chart. Lapis Lazuli is commonly used by magic peoples to increase psychic awareness in modern times.
The Book Of The Dead
The Book Of The Dead is an ancient Egyptian funeral book. It is a book containing magic spells and rituals for death. The oldest spells can be found dating back to the 3rd millennium before common times. These spells and rituals were carved and painted into objects before they were written into books. The tales told were of the journey into the afterlife.
What stories are shaping our lives and cultures today? Even our own stories will have a profound effect on the world that we live in, the history that we leave, the magic and the love that we leave behind.
Books are a very powerful and mystic creation that has influenced society and civilizations for many generations. What legacy will we leave behind?

I turn the page
It smells like aromatic wood
Sacred to my energy
It feels so good;
To know
What I did not before
To have
What I did not before
To become
Who I was not before
