The National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur) published a special section on its website for tourism businesses affiliated with the institution, to promote their special packages during the holidays.
Isabel Vargas, president of Canatur, said the Chamber has urged its members to provide packages that encourage and achieve an increased demand for tourism services for the local Costa Rica holiday vacationer.

The Rio Celeste Hideaway Hotel has a 30% discount on accommodation rates. The hotel is located in the Upala, Alajuela.
Tthe hotel Tetey Lodge in the Orosi Valley has a discount of 20% on lodging rates..
Day tours in the Manuel Antonio National Park Marino Ballena are also being offered at a discount.
This is a great time to take advantage of lower prices on many activities in Costa Rica, especially since rainy season is only about a month away.
