Costa Rica News – ICE is making changes to postpaid plans now that the regulation of cellular tariffs has been eliminated.
It now offers a 90-day unlimited data usage in several apps, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Waze and Instagram.
The new price offer runs from October 2nd, 15 days after Sutel stopped regulating prices in mobile telephony and mobile Internet. The public was unsure whether Sutel’s decision would benefit or hurt us.
This and other changes, such as a new pricing grid and free benefits promised, point to ICE’s strategy of attracting and retaining customers.
All new plans can be contracted without needing to buy a new phone.
The customer must choose a plan and then enable the royalties by dialing *888# and selecting “benefits,” option 6.
The use of “unlimited” benefits is reserved for clients with monthly payments of at least ¢12,000.
