Costa Rica Events – Christmas in Costa Rica has begun. Decorations are in the stores and you can feel everyone starting to prepare for the holiday season.
Yesterday on Friday the 21st, the Expressive Theater began presenting “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens.
The group is led by Jose Pablo Umaña. It will run until December 21st on Fridays at 8, Saturdays at 7 and Sundays at 3 and 7.
The classic story portrays poverty in 19th century London. Ebenezer Scrooge, the mean hearted antisocial, turns into a cheerful character with holiday spirit.
This is the third year they will present the play.
Some changes have been included to enhance the experience. It’s an updated version, different from last year’s. The tickets are on sale now.

The cast this year is made up of amazing talent, including Vinicio Rojas, Melvin Jimenez, Ana Ulate, Zoraya Manalich, Pablo Gonzalez, Alejandro Flores, Fanny Vargas, Jorge Castro and Ricardo Tames.
