Costa Rica Entertainment – Hanna Gabriels: The Legend of a Triumph, directed by Fray Navarrete and Rodrigo Acosta, was a film many of us looked forward to seeing but, sadly, it disappointed most critics.
The movie is almost in its entirety the boxer in the foreground speaking about her life in an anecdotal way. Even with some interruptions of dramatized sequences, it’s extremely boring.
Adding to the poor conceptual development of this so-called documentary, the little acting there was was pretty bad. This 2019 film takes up 118 minutes no one will get back.
If you don’t believe this or still want to see the film some critics gave a one out of five stars, you can check it out in Nova, Cinepolis, CCM, Cinemark, San Pedro, and Studio theaters.
