US News – There is a 99% chance that if you watch the video below you are going to cry, and if you don’t you might want to try to melt the ice around your heart.
A wedding video is going viral, and not because of a cleverly choreographed bridal party dance or a flower girl throwing a tantrum. The part of the video that stole the show is the groom Brian Scott’s vows to his bride Whitney Kay’s young daughter, Brielle.
He said, “I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street and bring comfort to your life. I vow to make you say your prayers before you eat. I promise to read you stories at night, to always tuck you in real tight. I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother. And above all else, I vow to protect you, care for you, and love you forever.”
Not surprisingly, there was not a dry eye in the house. The video was shot and edited by the wedding videography team at Pen Weddings. It was posted to YouTube a year ago but just recently started to go viral.
Pen Weddings co-owner Sarah Pendergraft told Yahoo News she is stumped at the video’s recent fame: “We don’t know why this suddenly took off a year later, but we are thrilled. We absolutely loved working with Whitney and Brian!”
If you’re a NASCAR fan you may recognize the groom — he’s a racecar driver. The couple lives in North Carolina but chose to get married in the mountains of McCall, Idaho. We’re not entirely sure that Kleenex did not sponsor their wedding video!
