Ghosts & The Supernatural – I build a fortress with energy to surround like prismatic ghost ribbons all around me. I visualize rainbows tied up into my soul like pretty guardians of evil. I touch damp soil with my hands and I absorb the power of the Earth. I feel the sparks of the ground like spiritual fireworks. Natures voltage resurrecting everything, there is nothing wasted.
Yet, I reach out into the universe and grasp on to the bouquets of stars closet to the moon. Like baby’s breath they shimmer with a gentle beauty, only to make the moon the most beautiful flower in the sky, like a red rose. These pieces of the spirit world are like pieces of ribbons, untied, unused and powerful.
The more stunning my visualizations are, the more likely ill be able to protect my psyche. Once the psyche is penetrated I could become depressed, unloved, and unlucky or haunted by the dead. I want to stay safe and sound; nothing gets through to ruin my mood. No one can bring me down. My fate is tied to the future.
May the Gods and our ancestors protect us from evil… Angelic Protection Before you go about your day it might be wise to say a little prayer.
Sometimes we can be put at ease by making the gentle request for angelic protection. A prayer is a very powerful tool that opens up psychic gateways from our dimension into many others. When you request angelic guidance, it is advisable to say what comes straight from your heart but a prewritten prayer can be memorized such as this one by pope Leo XIII; “St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.”
Salt
Salt has many uses in the world of protection. It is a natural healing essence and is quite good at cleansing your aura, if bathed in. During a new moon, ancient peoples of Greek origins would throw it into a fire to represent purification. To the Mahayana Buddhists, salt can ward away evil spirits. Try using sea salt to cleanse magical items.
Protection Oils
All oils are considered to be associated with the fifth element, which is that of spirit. Oil can be used in multiple ways, including anointing oneself and praying. Another creative way is to drop some oil into your bathwater and steam the air, making sure of course that the product can touch your skin safely by reading all directions on bottle. If the oil is not safe for use on skin than use by placing drops over doorways and windows. You may also use in an oil burner. Olive oil is best used by anointing a cross on the forehead and a prayer spoken.
Magic Circle
A magic circle is a form of protection used by those who practice rituals. It can be performed in many separate ways such as with salt, chalk and magical objects. The magical circle keeps the person inside safe and separated from foes of the spiritual world that may try to harm and disorient you from your purpose. A circle must also be closed after it has been opened.
Whatever situation you find yourself in it is good to remember that everything you need is already inside of yourself. Do not fear that we are of the unknown origin of this and, the next world. Connect yourself to the acceptance of life and death and what that will mean to you.
Remember than to live a good life so that those around you do not suffer. You can always protect yourself from evil but the truth is that one day we are all going to die, so appreciate every day that you have with loved ones and this Earth.
