Costa Rica News – SMEs in biological corridors newly have access to funds for green businesses thanks to a German and US cooperation program. It will co-finance small and medium companies in 15 key areas of Costa Rica.
The objective of the Green Business Fund for Biological Corridors is to provide access to resources to improve competitiveness in the development of environmentally friendly production processes.
The initiative counts on support from the German Cooperation for Development, the Framework of the National Program of Biological Corridors and the Costa Rica-United States Foundation for Cooperation with execution from the Banco Ambiental Foundation.
In addition to financial assistance, beneficiaries will receive training in topics such as quality management, environmental practices, finances and value chains.
