Costa Rica Entertainment News – Franklin Chang is well known as being the first astronaut from Costa Rica, and all of Latin America, to make it to space. He’s been honored at the NASA Hall of Fame. He’s now taking on a new challenge that he’ll no doubt become famous for, as well.
He thought, “What if there was a way to experience the wonder of space without ever leaving Earth?” The answer came in the form of an idea for a five-course meal that includes meteorites!
This “Taste the Stars” dinner will be featured at the Four Seasons. His goal was to take “dining under the stars” to the next level. They won’t be serving the food astronauts eat, but will play with themes of weightlessness, darkness, and extreme temperatures. In addition, it will be served outside, complete with a telescope.
The meal costs $195 and is worth every penny. Afterall, it was designed by a NASA astronaut who holds a world record. Is there anyone more qualified to create this unique experience?
The meal will include a sauce made from a meteorite that’s been fermented. It’s a rock that came from between Mars and Jupiter, to your plate.
