Costa Rica Travel – Emirates and JetBlue airlines are working together through what’s known as “code sharing” to connect Costa Rica with Dubai soon.
These flights will have a stop in the USA, either in Florida or New York.
Emirates flies a fleet of 244 aircraft, Airbus 380s and Boeing 777-300s, to over 160 countries through direct and shared flights. The Civil Aviation Technical Council approved the connection between our country and Dubai, over 14,000 kilometers away, on the Asian continent.
JetBlue offers flights from San Jose to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando and Liberia to New York. These would connect with Emirates’ five weekly flights from Fort Lauderdale and Orlando and a daily flight from JFK, in New York.
Costa Rica and the United Arab Emirates have reciprocal embassies and do not require visas to travel between the two countries. There is growing importance in diplomatic and commercial relations between the two nations.
