Costa Rica News – The Government has promised to build a seafood and fish market in Puntarenas.
The administration announced a ¢1,000 million investment for the first stage and contributions of ¢570 million from Incop.
President Luis Guillermo Solis’ administration made the promise this Saturday to the fishing and aquaculture community of central Puntarenas. When they will start the work or inaugurate it is still unknown.
They will build all the necessary works to have a retail market for the handling, processing and sale of the local products.
The Costa Rican Institute of Ports of the Pacific is behind the project.
This new market will be equipped with refrigerators for storage, a restaurant area for prepared foods and an area for loading and unloading, in addition to areas to sell products.
