Costa Rica News – A fair about animal welfare will take place in Multiplaza from July 22nd to 24th and in Multiplaza del Este from the 29th to 31st.
It will educate on animal welfare, new laws and also include an adoption campaign.
The hours of both fairs are from 10 am to 8 pm.
Animal welfare organizations will educate the public on topics such as how to rescue an animal, meet its basic needs, be a responsible pet owner, the care cats and dogs need, and what to do in an emergency.
The details and importance of a new law that penalizes animal abuse will be discussed. They will explain about the National Animal Health Service and how to make a complaint regarding animal abuse.
Training for independent rescuers will be available on issues like volunteering, funding, adoption, and nursery management.
The events will feature over 40 stands with product and service offerings for pet nutrition, health, cosmetic, accessories and hotels.
