Costa Rica Travel News – Everyone who comes to Costa Rica is looking for paradise. At Casa Divina you will find a divine escape to the vacation of your dreams. Leave the crazy city life behind for a few days or a few months and get away to this gorgeous luxurious villa in Montezuma, Costa Rica.
We were excited about spending time in the area even before seeing the house. The views are superb in every direction as you drive there (a 4×4 is recommended) plus the area has a reputation as one of the best tourist destinations.
Kelsey, the owner, made planning all of the details a breeze. She will answer questions you may have and even help you set up a car rental. Ximena is the property manager and will soon become a friend. She treats guests as family. She’ll make sure you are well taken care of and give you advice about local attractions and tours, some of which include snorkeling, yoga, horseback riding, waterfall hikes, surfing, ATV, ziplining and sailing.
When we first entered the house, we were amazed. It was impeccably clean and had a unique design that somehow seems to foster relaxation. Peaceful thoughts accompany the views entering through giant windows.
The villa is 1,500 square feet and has three huge bedrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen, koi pond, deck, BBQ and a salt water infinity pool. It is complete with internet, A/C, a washer/dryer, free secure parking, cleaning and maintenance.
The master bedroom has a king bed. The second one has either a king or 2 singles. The bunk room has 1 double and 2 singles. We stayed in the master which overlooks the rolling hills of the countryside. It has a grand closet, a juliet balcony, a soaker tub, and a safe. There are two bathrooms in the home as well as an outdoor shower.
If you are lucky enough to stay in this new contemporary eco-friendly home you will be able to spend the day being inspired by the landscape. Practice painting or photographing it. You may sit with a cup of coffee to listen to the wildlife and spot birds and monkeys from the deck which faces a pristine forest. At night, you’ll want to be outside to take in the sunset. Maybe barbeque at the same time.
There is also plenty to see, do and experience nearby. Casa Divina is just minutes from some of the best shops, restaurants, beaches, and all things Pura Vida. The home is a nice base camp for traveling around the Nicoya peninsula to places like Cabuya, Santa Teresa and Tortuga.
The price is a steal at $225 nightly or $400 during holidays. It’s a three bedroom home so it can fit up to 8 guests, perfect for a large family, couples, or a retreat with friends. If you just need one bedroom they will make up the master for you and give you a discounted rate. This is especially nice for honeymooners.
The minimum stay is 2 nights but long term rentals are highly encouraged in order to really get the feel of living in this majestic place. Long term rates are available for those of you who are looking for a home away from home for a few months.
