On the paranormal hotline, I sometimes get some pretty interesting calls. On 10/11/2022, I received a phone call from a gentleman from South Carolina. This gentleman who does not want to be identified is a skydiver, I will call him Mr. C. The story has to do with sky diving. I am somewhat familiar with skydiving. I once did a tandem jump at Sky Dance – Sky Diving in Davis, Ca. The one-time experience was good enough for me, but I was still interested in “sky” adventures and went on to take flying lessons in a private airplane and later a helicopter. That was the end of my sky adventures. But, for some people it never ends. I met many professional skydivers and skydiving is in their blood. My skydiving instructor was always looking up to the sky and I know his thoughts were high above. The caller yesterday is a skydiving enthusiast and the call is about a deceased skydiver.
Mr. C tells me that on three different occasions, he has seen the deceased skydiver in the drop plane. The sightings only last for a few seconds and he believes that other skydivers have seen the apparition of the deceased skydiver, but they haven’t discussed it. The deceased skydiver was a professional skydiver with extensive experience. Mr. C says that the deceased skydiver had over 1000 jumps. On the day that tragedy struck, the deceased skydiver was preparing for his solo jump, and everything seemed to be regular. When he actually jumped, the freefall was standard, the parachute deployed normally. The danger came when he reached a low attitude and made a sharp turn, the error was in the landing sequence. The landing was fatal.
Mr. C says that sightings of this deceased skydiver on the skydiving plane does not unnerve him, but what does have him shook up is that on two different nights, he has seen the deceased skydiver at the foot of his bed. When this happens, his bedroom turns icy cold and when he sees the apparition, it appears that he is trying to communicate something, because his mouth is moving, but no words can be heard. I asked Mr. C what is his goal from this call? Mr. C says that he basically wants to know what the message is, and he would like for the deceased skydiver to go towards the light. I suggested a psychic that has the ability to send spirits into the light. Fortunately, Mr. C actually knows a psychic from his high school days and is now consulting his psychic friend. Mr. C says he will give me an update at a later time.
My thoughts:
I hope the deceased skydiver finds the peace that he needs. This has all of the earmarks of an intelligent haunting.
