Costa Rica News – For all of you that plan ahead for Costa Rica concerts, you should mark your calendar for this one coming in December. In December, the Spanish group El Consorcio will be in Costa Rica to star in two concerts: the first will be on Saturday the 8th and the second the following day on Sunday.
Sergio Blanco Rivas (born 17 November 1948, Bilbao) and Estíbaliz Uranga Amézaga (born 9 December 1952, Bilbao), known professionally as Sergio y Estíbaliz, are a Spanish vocal duo, active since the late 1960s.
ince 1993 the duo have been members of the group El Consorcio which also includes former Mocedades members Amaya and Iñaki Uranga (sister and brother to Estíbaliz) and Carlos Zubiaga. El Consorcio remain active and have released eight albums to date.
Both shows will be held at the Teatro Popular Melico Salazar, and each of the members of El Consorcio, will both sing and serve as members of the orchestra.
“Show their faces as instrumentalists,” a press release ahead of the company AEA Artistic Productions, responsible for bringing them into the country.
Tickets for both shows will have prices ranging from ¢ 15,000 to ¢ 30,000. Tickets will be available to the public this week on the website www.laboleteria.co.cr
