Costa Rica Events – Costa Rica’s Teatro Ubu has long been used as a venue in which social problems are discussed. The independent theater group is now celebrating their 25th anniversary. In celebration of the big anniversary, they are offering a special play.
They are presenting a play about a woman who fell from the sky. It can be seen on the 17, 18 or 19, at 8 p.m. The cost is just 3,000 colones for students and 4,000 for the general public.
The star and director of the production is Maria Bonilla, an original founding member of this courageous group. She is proud that the group has lasted so long, and that they include visual arts, photography and dance in their presentations.
The group has performed in 12 countries, so far.
They are excited about “The Woman Who Fell From The Sky,” because it is a piece about diversity.
Its something that moves each and every viewer.
