Costa Rica Entertainment News – The National Theatre seeks to reach more people this year than ever before, by bringing the theater outside and to new communities as well as by increasing visitation by 10%.
They will also offer new tours geared toward children and groups.
Many Costa Ricans believe the theater is something for the elite, but that is not so.
It’s available to everyone. The director of the ancient institution wants everyone to have access.
They will offer free musical performances outside the theater on Fridays.
Also on the schedule of new offerings is a concert for Valentine’s Day, a free outdoor show featuring music and dancing.
Some other ongoing events to note are Gala of Keys, Music at Dusk and Theater at Noon.
These offer low cost tickets and specials for seniors and students.
