Costa Rica Events – You may have heard that everyone has something to offer to help underprivileged kids and wondered if there is really something you can do! The non profit organization CEPIA is offering a way that you can use your love for sports and competing to help raise money for Costa Rica’s underprivileged children.
Surf and Turf 2013 will take place March 15th till 18th. If you like to play golf, surf, support a good cause, or are a fan of Robert August you will want to take up the invitation to have fun while supporting the cause. This is the 14th annual charity challenge.
It all started when Robert fell in love with Costa Rica while filming “Endless Summer 2.” He wanted to find a way to give back to this great country. 100 percent of profits go to CEPIA, an organization that helps schools a children’s shelter, and that provides activities and counseling to at risk youth in Guanacaste.
To sign up for the golfing part of the competition the cost is only $150 incl. lunch and gift bag. For $200 you can compete in Golf and Surf, get a special gift bag and free entrance to the beach wear fashion show and party. If you would prefer to support without competing you can participate at the silentauction or the Hibiscus Sailing Tour. CEPIA is also looking for donations for the silent auction and cash donations in exchange for logo placement on flyers and banners, websites and Facebook.
However you choose to participate, know that you will be helping a great organization, making a difference for the future of the children of Costa Rica.
