The Children’s Museum is Christmas-ready, with an astounding 4,000 light bulbs. The lighting ceremony was enjoyed by a large number of guests in person and was also broadcast live on facebook.
The show, which was held at 4 p.m. yesterday, was complete with music, costumes, choirs, and lights. There were also storytelling presentations. It culminated with an impressive fireworks show.
15 traffic officers were in the area to help direct vehicles and pedestrians. Although some streets are closed off for holiday activities, authorities stress the importance of parents keeping their kids close to them, crossing at corners with lights, and following the instructions of traffic officers.
This is the 22nd time the museum has been lit up for Christmas. The last two years, the activity was on a hiatus because of the covid-19 pandemic. We were glad to see the stage installed once again, the artistic activities, and the building covered in lights.
