On Monday, Natalia Álvarez will start hosting “SportsCenter.” The tica has been in Mexico for three months preparing for this job as a journalist with ESPN. She has plenty of experience as a communicator that has led her to this newest professional adventure. She previously covered two World Cups.
During her time in Mexico, she received specialized studies in sports news topics. She spent much of her time learning and now feels confident to be in front of the cameras for this newscast.
Her presentation can be seen on ESPN 2 at 8pm. It will be a half hour segment. Correspondents from throughout Central America provide her with stories to present. She will also cover major sports news from other regions.
She has found it both a challenge and very helpful to work alongside colleagues with so much experience. She always has someone to ask about any doubts and to help her keep learning.
