Costa Rica Entertainment – The Costa Rican Giancarlo Guerrero won two Grammy awards in classical music categories for Best Classical Music Compendium and Best Classical Contemporary Composition.
The announcement of the awards happened on Sunday, in New York, at a ceremony prior to the corresponding gala.
He was nominated four times this year for various Grammy awards.
Guerrero had already won five awards from the Recording Academy previously. He now holds seven trophies and is acclaimed as the Costa Rican who has won the Grammy the most times.
Guerrero directs the Nashville Orchestra. He will be part of the special season of the National Symphony Orchestra this year. On August 17, the Tico conductor will offer a concert at the National Theater with the trumpeter José Sibaja.
