Anastasia Acosta was born in Costa Rica and later moved to Mexico for her father’s job. She is now celebrating 25 years of her artistic career in the country. The telenovela “La Usurpadora” got her career off the ground.
She was also in “Cero en Conducta,” “Rosa Linda, “Los Miserables” and dozens more. She has found near constant work thanks to talent and dedication. Many ticos have seen her work for years without knowing she herself is a tica.
She feels very fortunate for her career. She values it very much and enjoys it to the fullest. She considers her best weapon being humble. Work was always her priority but she would like to have a partner later on.
In addition to TV, she does theater. She likes that a lot because of the immediate reactions of the people. “Feeling the laughter of the audience fills me with energy,” she says.
Today, with total security, you can say that keeping your feet on the ground and being humble are the two best weapons that have accompanied you on this journey that awaits and does not end soon.
