Costa Rica News – A taxi driver attempted to attack an Uber driver on Monday night near the Tracopa bus terminal in San Jose, as confirmed by local security forces.
The driver was verbally abusive but did not get violent.
The Uber driver used the WhatsApp chat created for communication between drivers to alert his companions about what had happened. The Uber professional did not want to be identified.
40 cars arrived on the scene to support the Uber driver and prevent violence by taxi drivers.
When so many Uber cars began to arrive the taxi driver involved and others witnessing peacefully withdrew from the situation.
The public police were first to the incident and they reported the details to the traffic police. A convoy of trucks volunteered to escort the Uber driver and his passengers to their destination.
