Costa Rica News – The head of international communication of the Costa Rica Ministry of Tourism, Freddy Lizano, went to the Spanish tourism fair Fitur to present Costa Rica as an eco-friendly, natural paradise.
He stressed that Costa Rica is green not only in relation to tourism but all the processes in the country are headed toward a carbon neutral goal. Rural tourism was one of his focuses.
Costa Rica had 60,000 Spanish tourists in 2015. Lizano praised the existence of direct flights from Spain through Iberia.
This passage allows easy access to Costa Rica from all of Central Europe.
Keylor Navas, of Real Madrid, and his wife went to the inauguration of Lizano’s post at the fair to take pictures and sign autographs.
The fair consists of 9,500 companies from 165 countries and regions.
