Costa Rica Sports News – Not often do the eyes of the world turn to the Costa Rica national soccer league for amazing goals, but if more goals are scored like the one Esteban Ramirez netted against Saprissa that might change.
The team from Heredia has been in the mix for the national championship in recent years and going against the popular Saprissa soccer club always brings fireworks.
Already leading 2 goals to 1, 21 minutes into the first half Ramirez used his chest to control the ball and then volleyed home the shot from distance.
The shot set off a wild and deserved celebration.
Heredia ended up winning the game 3-2 and Ramirez’ shot was the difference.
