Costa Rica Medical Tourism – If you are planning on coming to Costa Rica in order to get medical work done, you will want to read this list.
The College of Physicians has approved a list of minimum costs for medical and surgical procedures.
It took five years to agree on the rates that medical professionals must charge. Of course, they can charge more.
The minimums are set to prevent unfair competition.
The amounts only include medical fees. On top of these fees are costs for hospital stays, travel, supplies, materials, medicines, and related examinations.
The complete list can be found on the College of Physicians website, portal.médicos.cr, click to see the full 218-page document.
