Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
“The main reason that people travel to Tarcoles is, without a doubt, to catch a glimpse of a crocodile. To be honest, with the sheer number of these incredible creatures that fill the river, you won’t come away disappointed.
Whether you go croc-spotting from the bridge over the river, or in one of the mangrove boat tours, you should be able to get a good view.
This particular photo was taken from the river boat, and our guide kindly informed us that the photo’s subject is a crocodile called Lady Gaga.
It’s not always easy to get clear shots whilst on a moving boat, but she stayed still and was content to watch us go by.”
