Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
For many of those that come to Costa Rica and head to either of the coasts, experiencing riding the waves is something they want to try.
On the Pacific coast of Costa Rica you can find surfing hot spots that are world renown, from Playa Grande and Witches Rock in the Guancaste Area to the high popular Jaco/Hermosa breaks and even further south you have Dominical and Pavones.
There will be waves to be caught no matter what time of year you head to Costa Rica but you need to make sure you know which breaks to not try to tackle as a beginner.
Surfing is a way of life for many that reside on the shores of the land of Pura Vida so there is always someone that is willing to teach you to ride some waves and for a moment harness the power of the ocean.
