Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
“They really don’t call it the Monteverde Cloud Forest for nothing.
If it’s sunny when you visit, then you might not notice the clouds as much, but as soon as the rain hits (in rainy season, about once every two days) the cloud comes in.
This photograph was taken at the end of a hike around the local area and just to the right of the shot is a beautiful waterfall.
I really liked how the various parts of the trees stood out against the misty background and gave a sort of ethereal look to the landscape.”
