Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
“Thousands flock to Manuel Antonio, and many of them walk the main path of the National Park in flip-flops, ready for when they get to the gorgeous beach at the end.
Unlike the volcanic black sand beaches in Jacó and further north, this one and the other smaller beaches in the Park have a carpet of clean white sand and rolling turquoise waves.
For this photo, I wanted something to give it a bit more texture than just the sand, water and trees.
Walking along, I found a gnarled wooden log and so framed the shot with that in the forefront.“
