Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
“The Festival of Whales and Dolphins has, after two weekends of celebrations, come to an end for another year. The main event of the festivals came in the form of daily boat trips where tourists were given the chance to see nursing humpback whales.
Boat trips took around 2 hours, and most visitors were able to catch a glimpse of these amazing creatures in the wild.
Most whales tend not to get that close to the boats, but with a long enough lens you can definitely come away with some great photos.
Even though the festival itself has now finished, individual tour companies will still be offering tours while the migration season continues.”
