Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
For all of us that lie at the beach, many of us go into survival mode as Semana Santa crowds flock to the area.
Semana Santa is one of the most important religious holidays in the Catholic country of Costa Rica.
Semana Santa known to us gringos as Easter week is a time for families to enjoy time together as family members of all ages come together as a family unit.
One of the things that drew me into the Latin culture is the importance of family. It gives you a feeling of comfort knowing that you have a “hogar” home to return to in your hard times.
