Beetles are one of the largest and diverse insect groups. Their digestive system consists of mostly plants. They inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide.

Mating occurs through the release of chemicals to attract the partner’s attention. Before mating, the beetles may engage in behavior such as vibrate and dialogue to identify the type of beetle.
