Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
Like in most Latin American countries soccer is the most popular sport among the locals.
While travelling around Costa Rica it is not uncommon to have a neighbors or just a rondom group of people come together and form a pick up game of soccer.
Most churches in Costa Rica will have a soccer field in front of it or beside it that will be filled with the neighborhood children and adults playing soccer on Sundays after mass.
When you get to the beach a couple of coconuts form a great goal to start a game and then you can run into the ocean to cool down.
