Costa Rica Picture of the Day – Each day the Costa Rican Times will be including a picture from around Costa Rica to see the natural beauty and amazing things that we get to see each day in the land of the Pura Vida.
Tárcoles River is famed for its crocodiles which, believe me, are numerous. When taking a boat trip, however, or just walking through the Carara National Park which borders the area, it’s worth taking a good look at the incredible scenery around you.
This photo was taken during Costa Rica’s rainy season (the weather was doing a pretty good job of demonstrating that about 2 hours before I took the photo!) and so the vegetation is really lush and green.
I didn’t do a lot of editing to this one; just brightened up the blue of the sky a little, and added some highlighting touches to the paler areas of cloud.”
