Costa Rica News – 37 of Costa Rica’s IT companies have offices outside of Costa Rica.
Some even have a presence in several countries. They total 79 foreign offices for IT companies based here in our country.
These information and communication technology firms went to foreign countries in order to market products and services. This presence abroad expanded with the opening of Wow Emotions, a virtual and augmented reality firm, in Miami, two weeks ago.
Dnamic opened headquarters in New York a couple of months ago. It specializes in production for digital marketing. Pixel506, another digital marketing and design and software development company, opened its headquarters in New York eight years ago.
16 of the offices are in the U.S., in places like Miami, New York and Silicon Valley. Some firms, such as Sysde, have gone as far as Africa. Many companies export from right here in Costa Rica but some find being abroad helps gain trust with customers and create networks and support.
