Costa Rica Entertainment – Malpaís published the digital version of their new album “Nada que olvidar.” The physical album will soon be available. This is the seventh album of the Costa Rican group. It also marks their return to the recording studios.
The 16 songs on the album have been gestated for over seven years, following the death of Fidel Gamboa, a composer, musician, singer and arranger of the band. The death left them very sad and without the strength to continue at the moment. About six months later they started composing thinking of Fidel. The song that was created, Regreso, became the symbol of their return.
Listening to the finished album is like going back to the grieving process from sadness and pain to reliving and then to knowing that memory prevails. The group feels the presence of Fidel every time they play.
The group will offer two concerts to present this production. They will take place on December 12 and 13, at 8 pm, at the Convention Center of Costa Rica. Tickets are on sale at the site www.boleteria.cr; ticket prices range from ¢12,000 to ¢22,000.
