Costa Rica Sports News -As we know Costa Rica and the United States have both qualified for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil but the other spots from CONCACAF are coming down to this last week of games.
On Friday, it was the Mexico vs. Panama game that we all had our eyes on, since Costa Rica and the U.S.A. had already qualified for the World Cup. Mexico got the game started in the 40th minute. Panama’s Torres came in with dominance by the 81st minute, equalizing the score. Ultimately, Mexico won 2:1, giving more importance to the games to happen on Tuesday.

Costa Rica has 15
Honduras 14
Mexico 11
Panama 8
and Jamaica 4
On Tuesday, Mexico is to travel to Costa Rica, who lost to Honduras 1-0 on Friday and Panama will host the U.S.A. In order for Mexico to automatically qualify for Brazil 2014, they will need to win and to see Honduras lose in Jamaica.
For Panama, a multi-goal win over the U.S.A. and a Mexico loss, or a 1-goal win and a Mexico loss are both paths to fourth place. The team that finishes fourth in the Hex will play New Zealand for a spot in the World Cup.
