Costa Rica News – The Costa Rican Coalition for Development Initiatives (CINDE) will be working to train 10 Costa Rican communities to create a plan that improves local competitiveness for investments.
The towns will seek to boost investment attraction outside the Greater Metropolitan Area.
They are Limón, Turrialba, Siquirres, Pococí, Carrillo, Liberia, Orotina, Perez Zeledón, Puntarenas and San Carlos
The director of Cinde, Jorge Sequeira, explains that the plan consists of working directly with municipalities of each town, with its government, academic institutions and private enterprises.
One of the goals is to increase English proficiency in the areas.
The second phase is to execute a training plan that aims to include communication, corporate development and marketing.
