Costa Rica News – Laura Chinchilla has a plan to try to push Costa Rican coffee during her European tour.
With the blessing from the auxiliary bishop of Paris, Monsignor Eric de Moulins-Beaufort, the President of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla, Sunday began her public activities in the French capital.
After participating in the celebration of the 850 years of the magnificent Cathedral of Notre Dame, the president was scheduled to meet with representatives of the global agricultural company Syngenta.
“They are interested in helping the coffee sector of Costa Rica. ,” she said.
According to Chinchilla, the intention is to develop projects to give added value to the national coffee by added value to different phases of the agricultural process.
Chinchilla arrived in Paris on Saturday, where she will remain until November 7th.
During this week, the president has meetings scheduled with the president of France, Francois Hollande, who will sign cooperation agreements.
