The anthology presents an eclectic collection of twenty-one short stories, penned by women authors from the seven Central American countries: Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Belize, Nicaragua, Panama, and Guatemala. A Celebratory Launch Event in Escazú
The official launch of “Desde el centro de América” took place on Saturday, November 11th, at the Librería Internacional in Multiplaza Escazú. The event, began at 2:30 p.m., will feature a discussion panel with Carla Pravisani, another esteemed Costa Rican author. This event, free for the public, provided a unique opportunity for literary enthusiasts to engage directly with the voices shaping Central American literature today. Attendees also had the chance to purchase their copy of the anthology, priced at ¢14,800.
