Costa Rica Entertainment News – Over the weekend the Casa de la Ciudad in Cartago will be hosting a theater festival with so much variety that everyone will be interested in something. Both amateurs and professionals will be performing.
“We want the community to have access to good theater. Attendees can see various works per night if they want,” explained the cultural promoter of the Casa de la Ciudad, Alexander Soto.
The cost is just 3,000 colones per night and it includes admission to three works. If you want to attend all three days, you just pay for two. It starts at 6 pm Friday and Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday.
Many of the works will touch on critical messages about society, about themes like domestic violence, drug addiction and prostitution.
We will see that all human beings are just that, human beings, despite their living conditions. They have emotions, desires and dreams.
