Fishermen have found the body of the swimmer who went missing from Caldera beach. The group of sport fishermen were traveling through Cabo Blanco when they came across the body.
The swimmer disappeared last Saturday. Authorities worked in many nearby beaches in search of the body since Saturday.
The body was found on Tuesday at around 5 pm. The men notified the National Coast Guard Service who arrived on the scene and rescued the body. Then the body was transferred to the naval base in Caldera.
The deceased has been identified as Geovanny Armando Gil Hernández, 36. He was a resident of Alajuela.
