Costa Rica News – A honeymoon is supposed to be the beginning of a lie together not an end. But that is what happened to a tourist that was on his honeymoon in Costa Rica.
The body of the missing American tourist, Josh Byrne, has been found.
He and his wife were here in Costa Rica celebrating a second honeymoon. While driving through a stream from the Pozo Azul, in Dominicalito de Osa, Puntarenas, the car flooded and the force of the water dragged him. His wife and daughter were able to get to safety.
Since then, the Public Force and Red Cross have searched for him. His body was found four kilometers from the accident site in a place known as Rocas Amancio, in the middle of a palisade near the beach.
News of his disappearance reached his hometown of Hudson, Massachusetts and his friends raised funds to look for him.
Sen. Ed Markey, Representative Niki Tsongas and Massachusetts State Representative Kate Hogan collaborated in the search.
