Costa Rica News & Events – The Art City Tour will be coming to an end on Wednesday 17th September in the Universidad Veritas, Zapote at 5pm.
The event will serve as a precursor for the Shnit Festival, which begins on the 8th of October, according to the institution in a press conference.
Art City Tour will incorporate the display Baile de mascaras, more than 40 photographs in varying formats distributed across the Central Gallery and the Roberto Sasso Gallery. This exposition marks the beginning of Fotoveritas 2014.
In addition, the Escuela de Arquitectura will offer two of its most honoured projects from the last Festival de Arquitectura Veritas. They focus on the ideas of Cascadas de luz (Cascades of light) and Destellos ocultos (Dark glimmers).
Visitors can enter both exhibition spaces, which were created by experimenting with the possibilities and limitations of materials and their ability to create spaces and human reactions, say Veritas University.
“Along the tour, you’ll also find a Live Painting area, which brings together a number of graphic design students who will be making their designs there and then. The School of Digital Animation will also be presenting their collection of Personajes utópicos”, the spokesperson went on.
There’s also a space in the Art City Tour for some fashion. The Fashion Design School will have an exhibit entitled Construcciones Corporales: Cuerpos con Texturas (Physical Constructions: Bodies with Texture), which is a selection of the best designs shown at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week San José.
The University has also had a Video Labyrinth designed, which will show some work produced by students at the New School for Cinema and Television from the last Shnit Festival.
