Argentinian Jorge Saggal opened two restaurants in Costa Rica. When they were working he started to think about what’s next. The gastronomic entrepreneur is now preparing a debut as a fashion designer.
His work will be featured at the Costa Rican Fashion Week this July and then go on to represent Costa Rica at the Latin Fashion Week Colorado in August. He makes eccentric and fun tailored suits. One is inspired by Mafalda and another by the Pink Panther.
His selection comes from his own wardrobe of 170 outfits he had his tailors make from his designs and chosen fabrics. His pieces are full of personality and are aimed at men, women and kids who want to be different. His authentic and unique taste for fashion includes handbags for each suit.
He was invited to the events after the organization saw his designs on Instagram. He looks forward to both criticism and congratulations.
