Costa Rica News – The population in Samara are getting more than they bargained for this week as another earthquake of decent strength hit again today. An earthquake of 5.6 degrees struck at 2:29 pm in the same area where the earthquake occurred on Wednesday.
The Earthquake Engineering Laboratory (UCR), preliminarily placed it two miles southeast of Playa Samara, Nicoya, Guanacaste.
The quake occurred 16 kilometers deep.
The stations recorded it so moderate in Santa Cruz, and Nicoya Cóbano, with an intensity of IV in the Mercalli scale.In the capital, he felt weak intensity (II and III) on the same scale.
